Mothers Day Out

The Mothers Day Out Program was started as a ministry/mission of Messiah Lutheran Church in the fall of 2000 to serve a need within the community. The program is strongly supported by the prayers and efforts of the congregation, and operates under the authority of the Board of Christian Education of Messiah Lutheran Church.
It meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 AM to 2 PM. following the Calallen ISD Calendar.
We provide a Christian learning environment for children who are 18 months to 5 years of age by October 1st.

MISSION/PURPOSE STATEMENT

The mission of Messiah's Mother's Day Out is dedicated to helping young people grow in the knowledge of Christian faith and to live that faith in their activities so they will be able to "Touch Lives With Christ". To accomplish this we introduce our students to God's word through age appropriate Bible Curriculum.

OUR OBJECTIVES

1. Introduce children to a Christ-Centered, child focused curriculum and environment.

2. Enable children to interact appropriately with adults and peers.

3. Introduce children to the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in kindergarten.

4. Provide parents an opportunity to have time for themselves.

5. Employ Christian, dedicated, loving, caring people to work with the children.
